We are seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. You’ll work closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and fellow surgical technologists in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on efficient, high-quality surgical care.

Pay

$26.00–$40.70 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Maintain and monitor the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team.
• Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
• Perform surgical counts and follow established patient-safety protocols.
• Assist with specimen collection, labeling, and handling.
• Identify and address equipment or instrument issues promptly.
• Assist with efficient room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures.
• Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with suturing or other technical functions when appropriate, under the direction of the surgeon and consistent with facility policy and scope of practice.
• Accurately complete required surgical documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection prevention practices.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred, but not required.
